How To Trade With SignalPro

All signals generated by SignalPro are merely tools to help you gauge the market. None of the signals constitute financial advice. You must implement proper risk management before entering any trade.
Even with historical backtesting, past performance is no guarantee of future results. Never trade with more than you can afford to lose.
SignalPro uses its advanced algorithm to provide entry signals (long or short) with TP and SL levels. Set the TP and SL on your exchange when entering trades.
Close 50% of the position at TP1 and the remaining 50% at TP2. When the price reaches TP1, move the SL to your entry, ensuring a winning trade. (SignalPro moves its SL to entry after TP1. When adjusting the SL, use your trade entry, not SignalPro's, as manual trading entries may differ.)
Since every market is different, adjust settings and backtest for each market.
To start the backtest, click "Strategy Tester" on the bottom left of the desktop version.
Strategy Tester isn't available on the mobile App, but you can still see the backtest results in the floating table.
Out of all data, only 2 of them are important: 1. Profit Factor 2. Equity Curve
The formula of the profit factor is = Profits/Losses, so as long as it's above 1 the algo is making money, but it's recommended to have at least 1.5.
Equity curve is the total sum of the profits/losses over the backtesting period. The equity curve needs to be steadily trending upward without huge drawdowns.
"Percent Profitable" excludes breakeven trades. However, since SignalPro moves its SL to the entry, the actual win rate will be significantly higher than "Percent Profitable."
Trading with SignalPro involves adjusting settings based on backtest data to find the most profitable configurations. As markets constantly change, settings need periodic adjustments.
We developed two distinct algorithms for your use, each with its pros and cons depending on market conditions. In the next tutorial, we'll explore each setting in depth and discuss achieving a high profit factor.
